Artifacts, family histories, and genealogical records are available for viewing and/or research. The society currently has over 350 members, representing 27 states and Canada. Semi-annual newsletters & Facebook update our activities.
Operating expenses / projects are funded by dues, gifts and bequests.
When you stop in Ragersville, make sure that you explore our historical properties ranging from the 1830 School House, the 1897 Lutheran Church Museum, the 1833 Jacob Steiner Cheese House, the 1846 Wine Cellar, Conrad Rager's Log Cabin and last but not least the 1851 Youngen General Store which has been turned into the Old Store Winery.
Our winery is currently open on Fridays from 4 - 8 and on Saturdays from 2 - 8 year around.
